Upcoming Classes you don't want to miss!

Look what Danielle has come up with this time! In her Irresistible Valentine Mini Album class on Saturday January 3rd at 10:30 am, you will create this mini book using My Mind's Eye coordinating papers. How cool is that- to leave class with a completely finished mini book ready for photos or to be given as a *wonderful* gift to someone you love? Below is a peek inside the book too so you can see just how totally wonderful it is!

And don't forget, that evening from 4-8pm, Saturday Night Layouts is going on! The pages from this class have been phenomenal! I look at them, and even though i don't have kids, there are a million ways i can change the papers or the titles to make them work for all kinds of stuff for my book. The ideas that Kathy and Danielle come up with are just great. There's just so much you get out of this class beyond the 8 pages you make.

If you've been needing some 'grown-up' time or maybe just a break from being in the house, grab a friend and make a day of it. Come to the mini album class in the morning, go have a leisurely lunch at one of the many area restaurants, and come back for layouts in the afternoon! It's a one-day retreat!

New We R Memory Keepers!

Look what arrived today! It is super cute and great colors! And what's wonderful about it, most of it doesn't have to be just for Valentine's Day! There's sunny yellows, bright blues and that ADORABLE bunny rabbit on the paper that says "Some Bunny Loves You!" The backs of many of the papers are divided up into 6x6 squares that are shrunken versions of the prints on the fronts! Instant Mini Book!

BasicGrey Bittersweet & Imaginisce Twitterpated

we've been anxiously awaiting both these lines and apparently Santa heard our pleas! They both arrived today- bringing smiles to all our faces despite the cold, grey and rainy yuckiness that is outside.

BasicGrey's Bittersweet line is just luscious with rich browns and beautiful pinks. I got a serious craving for chocolate while i was entering it all into the system! Click on the image to see a larger photo.
Imaginisce's Twitterpated is absolutely adorable! The little foxes, rabbits, deer and birds are just TOO CUTE! we all went AWWW! when we saw it. The line also has 4 Snag 'em Stamps that are a steal at only $1 and there are matching rub-ons and chipboard. It's embossed with some slick shine that really makes it pop too!

New Goodies- Heidi Grace Valentines and MORE!

It has been an interesting week here- with all the expected inclement weather and such, but we have gotten in some great new stuff. The Monogram Stamp sets have all kinds of brand new expansion options- such as dual color ink pads, new fonts, specialty rings and a smaller monogram stamper for even more options (think of how great it would be on the back of your handmade cards!)We got in some really great deals from Imaginisce- a Glitter Paper Pad with 300 pieces for only $9.99, a card stack that uses their hottest papers for $9.99 and an amazing pack with stamps, stamp pads, papers, cards and envelopes also for only $9.99! You have to see these to believe them!
Heidi Grace's Valentine's line has arrived and, of course, being the Heidi Grace fan that i am, i squeed in delight! It is SO CUTE! And the flocked and foiled papers are just gorgeous. It's hard to get a good photo of paper that shimmers so wonderfully, but i tried my best to make sure you could see just how precious this line is! Be sure to come in and see it in person- i promise it's even better!

Revolution Love Update

You may have heard through the grapevine that the Love is gone... yep, that's right- QuicKutz has switched gears due to the feedback of many users and retailers and has gone in the direction that most of you have requested- BIGGER!

As a result of this, they will be launching a machine with a 12 inch wide platform! We don't have all the details yet, but it is to be priced the same, if not less than the Love Machine. The idea now is that it will be a manual machine with the option to upgrade to an electric motor.

For those of you that have placed deposits on the Love Machine, we are offering two options-
1. You can roll your deposit over to the new machine (which is currently un-named) or
2. You may receive store credit for the amount of your deposit.

It's wonderful that QuicKutz has responded to the overwhelming demand for a larger die cut area. We can't wait to see what kind of options this opens up for the types of dies they will be able to create and we are very excited about what we've heard about the new machine. As more details become available, we will pass them along.

Thank you for your continued support of QuicKutz and Eclectica. :)

New Goodies in this week

So, we have been getting in all sorts of great new Valentine's papers - Cosmo Cricket, K&Co, American Craft, Doodlebug, My Mind's Eye.... doesn't seem like it should be time for all that yet, but it'll be here before you know it! And these great papers will be gone.

We also got in a reorder of the immensely popular "Good Cheer' line by October Afternoon. It FLEW off our shelves and we're actually getting low on this order too, so if you want it, better get it soon.

American Craft also came out with a "Teen" line that is very 80's inspired from the designs to the colors. The 80's seems to be all the rage these days- I still remember what they were like the first time around! As long as huge bangs don't come back, I think we'll all be safe.

The Great Impressions stamp board this month is a cooking/friendship theme. If i can get a decent photo that doesn't have crazy glare in it, I'll post a peek for everyone.

Don't forget our Holiday Open House tomorrow from 2-6pm. We'll have hot apple cider and cookies for you to enjoy why you make our adorable make-n-takes and shop.

Look what's coming up for SNL!

SNL (Saturday Night Layouts) has been wildly popular and with designers Kathy and Danielle at the helm, walking you though 8 - that's right, eight!- layouts, it's not a wonder everyone loves it!

This Saturday, our SNL has been pushed to 6 to 10pm because of our Holiday Open House, which is from 2-6pm and showcases 4 Make-n-Takes by Danielle (2 free, 2 paid). There are still spaces available for class though, so grab a friend, come for make-n-takes, Cider and cookies at 2 and stay all day with Saturday Night Layouts! What a fun escape from all the holiday bustle to just take time and be creative! (Plus, won't it be great to have photo ready pages for all those photos you take this time of year?)

Here's a sneak peek at one of the layouts you'll create in class this week.
