Holiday Open House - December 6th

Join us for our 2008 Holiday Open House!

From 2-6pm, we will have make-n-takes in our comfy class/crop area and specials through the store! Two of our make-n-takes are free, two are $5 and are perfect for gift giving!

Make a mini book with Imaginisce Snowy Jo paper and embellishments and a trio of ornaments/gift tags with Sandylion 3-D stickers and Maya Road Chipboard elements. (see photos below!) These are perfect gifts for teachers, secret Santas, or to tie on packages for extra special gifts for family and friends!

There will also be cookies and hot apple cider for you to enjoy while you shop, fill out your Wish List, or while you're waiting to have your purchase gift wrapped for free! If you're shopping for others, be sure to check their Wish Lists and make sure they get exactly what they have been hoping for this year (gift receipts are available).

Weekly Update- New products too!

Wow- this is a busy week!

We have the St Jude 24 Hour crop going on this weekend, beginning at 5pm on Friday. It's not too late to sign up! We still have spots available for this amazing cause.
There's a Silent Auction going on this weekend too, beginning on Friday and ending on Sunday where **100%** of the money collected goes straight to St Jude! I've received several items for auction and if you were planning on dropping something off but forgot, I've extended the deadline for drop-offs to 11am on Friday Morning (October 24th)

We received in a lot of new stuff from K & Company- two Lotus by Amy Butler lines with paper pads, two Christmas lines with paper pads, 8x8 Baby pack, albums, Life's Journey papers and embellishments and reorders on some of the very popular paper pads we had before from them.


Basic Grey Wassail arrived this week and is absolutely breath-taking.. beautiful double sided papers and matching embellishments. It has to be their best Holiday line yet! There are three sets of clear stamps, a card kit, chipboard, 6x6 pads and more! And so many of the papers can be used all year long for all sorts of cards and pages.

New in this week- Crate Paper!

This paper is YUMMY! It has a subtle linen texture, is double sided and has a great look to it. It's not as heavy as previous Crate Paper releases- this reminds me more of Chatterbox or KI Memories as far as paper weight goes. They have some great glittered Die Cut embellishments and borders to go with the three lines as well as paper packs that are an amazing deal! You get a TON of stuff for only $17.99!

The lines go across- the first two shelves are Lemon Grass, the second 2 are Mia and the bottom 2 are Prudence.

QuicKutz Love Update

Accucut Cards - October 13th

This is just a taste of what Skye has created for you in her Accucut Cards on Monday, October 13th. Our AccuCut die-cut center is an amazing resource that many people don't know about and Skye will teach you how to make the most of it! Since it's free for customer use with any papers bought from Eclectica, it's a great way to make your crafting dollar go farther in this economy, too!

Join Skye at 10:30 am for a great class that will certainly get those creative juices flowing!

New Product - October 7th

We also received in some new papers from Sandylion, new stamps from Fiskars, Swiss dot Bazzill cardstock and the chipboard embellishments to match Sassafras Lass's adorable papers.

Lights, Shadows and More on Oct. 10th

Kimm will be teaching you how to use *3* different coloring mediums to paint lights, shadows and other special effects on your stamped images. She'll help you learn how to decide which products fit your style and allow you try something new to push yourself into other creative directions.

If you have a preferred multimedia paintbrush, please bring it with you to class (size 2 and size 4 filberts and a round brush are ideal) Water reservoir brushes are also recommended.

Kimm will be giving a lot of personalized assistance in this class- it will almost be like having a private tutor! So- if you want to expand your repertoire of watercolor skills, this is a class you don't want to miss! Friday- October 10th at 6:30pm!

New SEI papers

SEI's new holiday papers are very pretty and have foil accents! The double sided cardstock weight papers are perfect for papercrafted projects, cards and of course, layouts!
Oasis and Black Orchid are two other lines from SEI. Oasis has exotic prints reminiscent of Casablanca and ornate Moroccan mosaics. Black Orchid makes me think of New York for some reason- perhaps because they're always so fashion forward there and this looks like something straight off the fashion show runway. :) The bold prints and bright colors will help chase away any preemptive winter blues you might be having.
