New Product - March 28th

Stamps seem to be the theme this week! Orders from Invoke Arts, The Cat's Pajamas and Memory Box have created quite a stir!

Some really cool unmounted sheets came from Invoke that are good for all sorts of crafting applications. They're obviously good for regular stamping on paper with ink, but they're also great for polymer clay arts, 3-d pieces (the niches and paper dolls totally lend themselves to this), and making jewelry and home decor. The wood mounted stamps are also very cool with some interesting images. (click on the photo for a close up!)

For those of you who loved Memory Box's costumed Penguins and Polar Bears, this set of stamps may come as a bit of a surprise- but we think it's a good kind of surprise. This board is almost vintage in its execution but totally fresh with its design. It has a certain elegance about it that we are really digging! the muted tones are very soothing and the stamps are really nice. Flourishes and Birds- what could be better? :)

And because we all need a place to stash our new goodies- All My Memories has come out with new Totally Cool Totes that have even MORE space for tools, gizmos and gadgets, a more ergonomic handle *AND* a carousel base. With the matching bags that are perfectly sized for 12x12 paper and albums, you will be organized and chic!

Right now, we have them in pink and that GORGEOUS blue! Don't wait too long to pick these up, we're all looking to upgrade our original totes and I know I have two to replace :)

Sharing- Neat Paper Crafted Piece

Our Cynthia made this amazing 3-D piece of art from QuicKutz and Holly Berry House stamps. The fairy is made from the 4x4 Ballerina die, her wings are the 4x4 Butterfly die and her skirt is adorned with QK Flourishes. The base is made from one of the Holly Berry Medallions. Cynthia cut out several of the ballerinas from cereal box weight chipboard and glued them together to create a thicker, more substantial piece. Glitter and organza ribbon tie it all together into a wondrously magical piece. Stop by the store to see it in person and ask Cynthia how it was made!

New Stuff- March 24th-25th

It was like Christmas when the UPS guy showed up yesterday- 17 boxes of product! We got Basic Grey, SEI, Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist, QuicKutz reorder, restocks on tons of product with a few new goodies thrown in and the current releases from Stampington & Co. (the new Life Images looks very interesting) Today we received Scrapworks new acrylic albums.(LOVING the postage stamp one!) and a Making Memories re-order (12x12 refill pages are back in stock!)

We ordered three of the five full lines from Basic Grey and the collection packs of the other two. We also got the Rub-on Roller and a restock of the file sets. (enlarge any photo for a quick Basic Grey fix!)

I think we have the Glimmer Mists covered- we added MANY new colors to our selection, including several special edition colors. We also brought in some of their Glimmer Chips- embossed chipboard pieces designed to take the Glimmer Mists (and to be used as masks!) I absolutely LOVE the owls in the Nature pack! They're very nice.

Three new lines came in from SEI- two are technically baby lines but they could be used for many more applications and the other is deliciously retro (one of the reasons we all know and love SEI is their signature retro look!) I've added images of the embellishments that came with these lines so you can take a look at how cool they are. The ribbon is very pretty in person and the rub ons are super cute!

New product in - March 20th&21st

Sorry- I'm a day behind! If you had seen how many new ColorBok Albums came in yesterday, you'd understand why! We have *LOTS* of new 8x8 albums and some great new 12x12's. The shimmer 8x8's are really cool- nice fresh bright colors. There are some really cute 12x12 and 8x8 baby albums.

Anna Griffin arrived- we received two really neat lines plus the matching embellishments. I really like the one printed on kraft paper- it's a very earthy line. I can see some really neat stuff done with it. The other line from her is very classic Anna- perfect for weddings, anniversaries, baptisms, christenings, etc.. (don't forget to click on the pictures for a better view!)

After a long time off the shelves, Un-Du is back in stock! For those of you that have been rationing out your remaining supply, ration no longer! :)

A new assortment of $1 stamps from Inque Boutique fills the basket by our registers. As always, they have some really great stamps for all sorts of applications. We also got in some of the larger sets that are really cool.

Four new lines from Crate Paper came in today. I absolutely love the way Crate Paper feels- like soft velvet. They have really neat matching brads with these lines- there are plain coordinating brads and cool epoxy brads that have images on them.

DreamKuts - Short Demo Video

We've had a lot of people asking about the Zutter DreamKuts, so we did a little research. Ellen found this video that shows just how cool the DreamKuts is.

We were under the mistaken impression that it only cut paper in perfect halves, but it also cuts a 12x12 sheet into perfect thirds! There are *two* cutting slots- the back slot has a single fixed blade and adjustable guides. The front slot has two stationary cutting blades and is fixed for 12x12 paper.

This tool makes mini-books a breeze! I am so impressed with how easy it is!

Paper House papers in assorted themes. We received some new Elvis paper, new travel destinations like Alaska and Canada, new wine paper, road trip, band/music and more!

Fancy Pants Paper, transparent glitter die cuts, and rub ons are super cute! The Transparency Glitter Die Cuts are very cool and very different, but are also very un-photogenic. You'll have to stop in the store to see those! There are 8 new lines of Fancy Pants paper with matching rub-ons. (click on the images to see it in ALMOST life size- dependent on the size of your monitor!)

New Today- Wednesday March 12th

Prima's new papers are absolutely lovely, just like their flowers always are. Double sided, cardstock weight and with vibrant colors that make me even more impatient for spring than I already am! We're eagerly awaiting their new clear stamp releases as well! (click on the photo for a better look at this very pretty paper!)

Cosmo Cricket also arrived today and with their new lines came something we're all pretty excited about- Black Chipboard! Just imagine- no painting required! Ink the edges with a Colorbox Chalk and you're good to go! No more boring grey! Their new papers are fabulous as well with very nice matching ribbon. All their papers are double sided and we have the packs that include matching die-cuts and monograms.

QuicKutz March releases came in today and are creating quite a buzz. The theme for this month's release was pirates! There's 4x4 dies of a ship, a treasure map, a parchment and a costume for the paper doll, 2x2 dies - a cannon (perfect for Shiloh trips or Civil War/American History layouts and projects), a pirate flag, a skull, a really neat explosion that would make some amazing fireworks, a sword, a spyglass, flintlock gun, treasure chest, hook hand and Pirate Speak phrases (Ahoy and Yo ho). These are actually some very versatile dies and can be used for so many different themes. I couldn't get a decent photo to save my life because of the glare on the packaging, but you can check them out on QuicKutz website here.

New Meri Meri 3-D embellishments also arrived. Inkadinkado stamps came in, including some great clear mini stamp sets that are perfect goodies for secret stampers and friends (or pick-me-ups for yourself!)

Kaiser, Pine Cone Press, K & Company, and more!

Kaiser paper and *wooden* board books arrived from Australia yesterday. This is a brand new company for us and we're very excited with the goodies! The books are very reasonably priced, several are under $5 and they look absolutely amazing worked up. The paper is really neat with a variety of styles from cute and colorful to grungy and distressed. We also got in some great rhinestones in many different colors and two styles. (click on any of the photos for a better look!)

Pine Cone Press arrived today and included some Easter paper in addition to their Spring line. As you can see (right) the colors are really bright and fun. The patterns are suitable for all sorts of applications too- I can see some really good cards with these!

K&Company's Berry Sweet line arrived last Friday and we're already sold out of some of the line! The sock monkeys (which are popping up all over the place - Daisy D's Bambino line that we just received has them too) are very cute as are the owls, mushrooms, birds and more. K&Company's embellishments are always top notch and this line is no exception- glitter, 3-D, embossed... they're all here.

Scenic Route's new lines are very bold! the color is bright and fresh with great combinations of green, teal, orange and brown. But don't think for one second this is a fall line! Fish and waves and stars and stripes - these papers will carry you through your summer layouts, vacation photos, field trips and more. Add to it that Scenic Route's papers are always double sided card stock and this line has it all!

Last photo- but certainly not the last of the new product that's come in these past few days- Paper Trunk- another newbie to the scrapbooking scene. This paper is so luxe. The texture is just enough to give it an added layer of depth and richness- it feels a lot like Crate Paper in its silkiness. The colors are so deep. I really *really* like these 3 lines. Double sided for maximum versatility and easy matching, I see these getting alot of use!
