Blog Give Away! Signed copy of The Big Picture!

The beginning of the year is a time for resolutions, renewals, and resignations. Around here, we've all resolved to eat healthier, exercise more, scrapbook more, spend time with our families more, and let go of bad habits. We want to know what your New Year is all about.

Leave a comment on this blog telling us your resolutions anytime between now and January 23rd for a chance to win an *autographed* copy of Stacy Julian's book The Big Picture.

Winner will be chosen at random from all comments left (one comment per day please!)

I propose to get my act together: be healthier, stay organized and spend more time with good friends and family. Somewhere in there, I want to create the ultimate art project...or maybe just a few small ones!

I resolved to further my self artistically and scrapbook more. So far I am doing pretty good with the scrapbooking, and I am looking for more art classes to enroll in throughout the year.

My goal is to use my time more wisely...less computer time and more time spent with my children, cleaning the house, and scrapbooking.

2009 is going to be a new beginning for me. I have made some major changes in my life that should bring positive results. My birthday hits one of the landmark numbers. I am also committing to spending more time in the studio - the outcome: I hope will be lots of fun art.

To just be better! Better at managing my time, my money, myself. I need to start putting me ahead of everyone else.

I am going to exercise and lose weight, get caught up on my scrapbooks, organize my entire house, be a better mother, wife and sales person and go green. Actually, I AM going to work on those things, but my real resolution is to stop beating myself up for what I don't get done and celebrate my accomplishments!

This year will be the year to focus on the goodness that God provides. Forget the baggage of the past and cherish the best of what is today...especially family and friends.

A contest cool!!! One of my resolutions is to reflect weekly on negative things that happen in my life and find how that thing made me grow and become a better person. Thanks!

I resolved to stop making New Year's resolutions as I never keep them. But I did set a goal and that is to do a make purge of my craft room that is way too crowded for me already. Thanks for a chance to win your contest.

I don't normally do resolutions, so I am trying to be more organized this year in hopes of being able to be more creative in scrapbooking, in my house and in my life. :)

I live in the "now". I am grateful for my life, my family, everything that I am and have now. That is my plan for my life this year. Learning to be grateful, satisfied and fulfilled for where I am now.

I resolve to slow down and enjoy the time I have with my husband and son more. Often I am deep in thought about other things that at the time seem important (but really aren't) and I don't give them the attention they deserve. No wonder I scrap them the most!

My new year resolution is to use all of my scrapbook goodies I already have and the new stuff I get. Rather than just admiring them.

I resolve to use most of my unused stamps this year (literally hundreds), but first I'd love to win the book and go from page 1 thru to "the end" of it before I start too much stamping and organizing!

This year I want to be more like one of my awesome co-workers and not talk about people (the ones who really make me mad in bad ways). I am an unusually direct person anyway and I'd just like to be more productive in the way I express myself especially at work!

My plan is to find the old me.. Destress, be happy, be healthy, and more organized. I want to find more time to scrap and less scrap supplies in my scrap room!

As a high school senior, I have limited time remaining. I chose to completely revamp my idea of time-management. I'm getting a lot more done and have plenty of time left over for hobbies... like SCRAPBOOKING!

My goal is to create. I've gotten in the habit of going through my supplies, planning and planning, but find myself not really doing anything. This year, my promise to myself is to create...as much as I can. Mini-albums, wall art, anything and everything I can think of!

I promise to clean my craft room so it doesn't look like paper blew up all over the place. I AM going to pay off my credit card! I want to loose 20 pounds but I might have to tweak that number :-) I love my "E" family and wish you all the best this 2009.

I am the world's worst at keeping resolutions, but I try anyway. This year I do resolve to take better care of myself. As a diabetic I don't do what I should all the time. My kids even gave me a diabetic cookbook for Christmas and made me a sugarfree birthday cake (which was pretty good!). My second resolution has already begun. That is to reorganize my scrapbook area and get closer to catching up on the multiple books I have begun! That will be a fun one!

This is the first year in a long time that I don't have to make losing weight my resolution! How freeing is that? I am 42 pounds down and am on the right track...FINALLY! So, my resolution this year is to simply learn how to eat using chopsticks! Oh, and keep my bank account balanced...I find that with paying bills online this is harder to do than when I wrote a check for everything!

I am like a lot of you. I have decided to eat healthier, lose a little weight, get organized and stay organized :), get more involved at my church, spend more time with family and to find more time to scrap. I also need to finish some of the projects that I started. :)

Being thankful for all of the many blessing that have been afforded me is what I will do this year. I will not sweat the big stuff, the small stuff or any of the STUFF! making more room in my life to concentrate on all of my blessing is what I plan to do. Oh and to get caught up on my scrapping too!

I resolve to lose the baby weight- and need to do it by September! She's not quite a week old, so I haven't really started yet... but soon.

Another one of my resolutions is, of course, lose weight! Duh! LOL!! So far I have dropped 3 pounds, whoo-hoo!!!

I resolve to make more time for me. I will make time to allow for creativity by working more on my scrapbooking and card making. I also want to learn new and different techniques this year that will step up my crafting.
