Eclectica Kit Craze- August Card Kit:
August's card kit will help you celebrate special birthdays! This "by the numbers" kit is totally customizable thanks to the included full sheet of number stickers by SRM. Each sticker sheet includes two of each number, 1-9. You'll also receive a full package of Bella Blvd's new stick pin flags in a birthday theme, along with embellishments by Maya Road, Bazzill, Kaiser Craft, May Arts and The Twinery. The cards feature papers by Echo Park (two different lines), Crate Paper and Doodlebug Designs. With two masculine cards and two feminine, you'll be set for any upcoming birthdays, no matter what! Each kit includes everything needed to create all four cards, plus detailed instructions and a color photograph of the samples.
Note: Our card kit continues to sell out with a wait list each month. If you're on our reserved list, you have three days from when we call you to pay for your kit (either by phone or in store). After three days, any leftover kits get put on the shelf. If you want one of these "leftover" kits, be sure to come into the store in a few days or give us a call so we can reserve one for you. If you'd like to be put on our reserved list permanently, please call and let us know. You are under no obligation to purchase the kit each month.

Tattered Techniques 1
Wednesday, August 22 at 1:00 PM -- $35
You will be immersing yourself into a world of all things glimmer. You will play with ALL of the Tattered Angels paint mediums including, Glimmer Mist, Glimmer Chalkboard, Glimmer Glam and Glimmer Glaze. Learn to blend, create backgrounds, mask, wax resist, and a few other fun techniques! Your finished project can be used as a Tattered Angels reference book or throw some pictures in it and it can be a mini album. Please note: Your basic tool kit is needed for class. This class will last approximately 2 hours.
Inspire Mixed Media Album
Wednesday, August 22 at 4:00 PM -- $50
In this class you will dive into the world of mixed media. We will play with the NEW Plain Jane products alongside the other wonderful Tattered Angels mediums. There will be gesso, modeling paste and lots of fun textures to play with. There will also be other color options for you to play with! Please note: Your basic tool kit is needed for class. This class will last approximately 3 hours.

This class covers the basics – tools, adhesives, albums, etc. We will let you test drive different tools and adhesives so you can make an informed decision when you invest in the things you need to make your memories last forever. Bring 4-6 photos of any one event or theme and we’ll walk you through your first 12x12 layout.

Brought to you live from Eclectica Scrapbooks & Stamps, it's Saturday Night Layouts!! For this special night we bring you two of our very talented scrapbook instructors, Rhonda & Jennifer. No holding back here, these girls have got talent and you will be amazed at the layouts and ideas you leave class with.You will be taking a small break, so be sure and bring yourself a snack to keep your energy level going! Themes this month include: Love of Family, Lazy Days, Playtime (not just children), My Life, Totally Unique, and All You Need is Love (wedding or otherwise) . You will leave class with 2 double page layouts and 4 single page layouts completed and ready to add your photos. Please note: Your basic tool kit is needed for class, as well as pop dots and glue dots.

Introduction to Copics

Enroll in this class and learn about the 358 colors in the Copic library. You will love how easy Copic Markers are to use and the professional results you can achieve! In this Introduction to Copic Markers class, Mary teaches the basics of caring for your markers, explains the Copic color system and how to select the best papers and inks to use with your markers. Class participants learn basic techniques in order to blend and shade effortlessly. Introduction to Copic Markers is perfect for those curious about this great coloring product and for those wanting to try the markers before making a purchase. You will leave class with two completed cards and the ability to create more. Please note: You will need to bring your basic tool kit to class.

After completing the Introduction to Copics (or an equivalent class) you will find this class enjoyable and the perfect way to increase your Copic skills! You will be able to practice the techniques that you learned in the Intro class as you learn new shading and blending techniques to use to enhance your creativity. Even though this is a monthly class, you will make two different cards each month. We will do another LaLa Land stamp and a Northwood's Bird stamp. Please note: Your basic tool kit is needed for class. A list of Copic markers to be used in class will be available after June 22 for those participants who choose to bring their own.

ABC Primer Mini Album

Do you remember those August days when your thoughts turned to the start of the new school year? Then join Marsha in making this unique mini album using Graphic 45’s adorable schoolhouse inspired An ABC Primer paper collection. You will love the vintage schoolhouse images within this mini book that has a pencil and tape measure binding. This mini album will be a great place to document grade school for a child in your life or for your own childhood memories. Please note: Your basic tool kit is needed for class along with your trimmer, brown distressing ink (Chestnut Roan is great!), sharp scissors, and 1/8 & 1/4 inch score tape. This is a workshop length class.
Altered Paper Mache Purse

Tara will teach you how to take a bland paper Mache purse and turn it into a fashionable handbag that is boutique quality to carry with you or to sit and hold your favorite goodies. Please note: Along with your basic kit, please bring a strong liquid adhesive, gel multi medium, large paint brush, pencil, and micro tip scissors. This is a workshop length class.

After completing the Introduction to Copics (or an equivalent class) you will find this class enjoyable and the perfect way to increase your Copic skills! 12-Hour Pizza Crop
Saturday, August 25 from 10AM – 10PM -- $15
Join in us for our 12- hour pizza crop! We will be serving pizza for dinner and there will be plenty of soda and candy as well. You’ll have 12 hours of uninterrupted cropping. Bring all your supplies and we will provide you with plenty of working space, as well as use of our die cut center.You don’t have to be a scrapbooker to enjoy our crops. Bring your stamping and paper arts supplies and enjoy 12 hours of creative time. Drawings for prizes too! |
