Memory Box Guest Instructor Sneak Peek

Memory Box Watercolor- Saturday August 21st
This fun class teaches watercolor through watercolor paints and watercolor pencils. Learn the advantages of each watercolor media and get some helpful tips for applying watercolor to greeting cards with washes and blending techniques. Each student will create 4 cards featuring the new Memory Box winter stamp collection in an informative and supportive teaching style. Students should bring: bone folder, scissors, paper trimmer, favorite adhesive and Twinkling H2Os in the following colors (if you have them): Ginger Peach, Sunflower, Ocean Wave, Olive Vine and Ruby Red.


Memory Box Colored Pencils - Saturday August 21st
Come and learn about color, blending and shading while using the latest Memory Box images and papers. Each student will make 4 cards using colored pencil techniques that will make you color like a pro. Plus, we'll add texture and dimension to the cards with the artful addition of Flower Soft. Students should bring: bone folder, embossing stylus tool, Prismacolor Pencils (White, Crimson Lake, Celadon Green, Dark Green, Carmine Red and Orange), scissors, favorite adhesive.

Bookbinding Basics -Sunday August 22nd
Whether you're a novice or a self-taught bookmaker, you are bound to learn something new in this class. We will complete 2 books that you can decorate at home. These books will incorporate two proper accordion fold techniques, basic sewing methods, hard and soft-bound covers and the proper terminology of bookmaking. These books feature new papers from the Memory Box What's in the Box release. Students should bring: awl, bone folder, scissors, glue stick, pencil, ruler and a mouse pad/cutting mat.
